Bio Pages Now Live at erago.site/@handle, Plus QR Corner Colors

By ERAGO · Published · 2 min read

This week brings two updates: a shorter, cleaner address for bio pages, and a new way to style the corners of your QR codes. Here's what changed and what it means for you.

Bio pages now live at erago.site/@handle

Bio pages have moved from erago.site/u/handle to erago.site/@handle. The new address is shorter, easier to say out loud, and looks like the handle people already know from your social profiles.

Do I need to do anything?

No. Every old /u/ link now redirects automatically (a permanent 301 redirect) to the new @ address. That means:

  • QR codes you already printed keep working.
  • Bio links in your social profiles keep working.
  • Links shared in chats, emails and posts keep working.

From now on, share the new @handle address. It is shorter and easier to remember.

Bio pages are free on every account, with a small ERAGO badge. Pro adds bio themes and removes the badge.

New in the QR studio: separate corner colors

The three big squares in the corners of a QR code are called finder eyes. They help the camera find the code. You can now give them their own color, plus an optional separate color for the center dot of each eye.

It is a small change with a visible result. For example, use navy dots with dark orange corners to match your brand without redesigning the whole code.

The option is free for everyone, both in the QR studio and in the short-link editor.

Watch the contrast warning

To scan reliably, the corners need strong contrast against the background. The studio shows a low-contrast warning when a color drops below 3:1. For example:

  • Bright orange (#F97316) on white is only about 2.8:1, so you'll see the warning.
  • A darker orange (#c2410c) passes and still feels clearly orange.

The warning doesn't block you, but we recommend following it, and test-scanning with your phone before you print.

Coming soon: a Spooky bio theme

A Halloween Spooky bio theme arrives for Pro on October 19, available until the end of October.

FAQ

No. Old /u/ links redirect automatically to the new @handle address, so printed QR codes and existing links keep working.

Are corner colors a Pro feature?

No. Separate corner colors and center-dot colors are free for everyone in the QR studio and the short-link editor.

How much is Pro?

Pro is $5/month, plus tax where applicable. It adds bio themes without the ERAGO badge, unlimited custom domains, analytics, OG share cards and unlimited links. Bio pages and one custom domain are free.
